Design collaboration- Silk hairbands

Alice & Astrid x Emi Milverton

As a creative it is fun to be able to team up with other creatives, through my brand Alice & Astrid I am delighted to have collaborated with Emily Milverton, a designer/maker, based in North Yorkshire, not far from my own studio. Emily shares my passion for colour, pattern and beautiful fabrics. Emi Milverton makes makes vibrant, unique bands that leave a positive mark and plenty of colour to an outfit.

Care for the environment is at the forefront of the bands. Every hairband Emi makes is handmade from either re-used vintage fabric – in her own collections she uses fabulous silk saris and rich velvet's . For Alice & Astrid this fits perfectly, as we design and make our collections, Emi has used our silk satins, keeping the with philosophy of sustainability to create these limited edition Alice bands exclusively to buy online.
